- Hair transplantation is an operation that takes hair from the back of the head (occipital region of
  the scalp) and move it to the area of the Hair loss.

Follicular Unit Graft (F.U.G)
Follicular Unit (F.U) :
- The hair in every person's scalp grows in tiny burdles.

- It contains 1-4 terminal hair follicles.

- At the end of telogen, hair is released and shed and the next cycle is initiated

- Contains 1-2 fine vellus hair, sebaceous glands, a small muscle, tiny nerves and blood
  vessels, and fine band of collagen surrounding the unit.

- Is seen on the surface of the scalp as a tiny group of hairs that appear to be growing together.

Follicular Unit Graft (F.U.G) :
- A technique where the follicular units are removed from the donor tissue under microscopic
  control to avoid damage.

- Complete microscopic control to avoid damage

- Complete microscopic procedures have been shown to produce in an increased yield of both
  the absolute number of follicular units, as well as total amount of hairs.
